Cats and Dogs
Next Thursday the juniors from Ahipara School are going to the movies. If you want to buy a popcorn and water you need to bring $5.
The movie will be at Te Ahu centre we will get there by bus.
We might go in the morning or afternoon and we are watching Cats and Dogs 3.
We are nervous and excited!

Learning how to do quick write
Our goal every Friday is to get to 50 words-Stevie.
It can be hard for some people and easy for others-Jade.
It doesn't matter if you get lower than 50 as long as you try hard-Kihani.
We try hard to beat our OWN score from last week-Lara.
We use words from rhyming strings to help us like dog, log, fog, or at, cat, hat, sat-Chieko/Jade.

Fairy Tale Coding with Scratch Junior
LEARN: We are learning about computational thinking by coding using Scratch Junior.
We know how to choose a background, choose characters and to use many of the Motion Blocks to make our characters move.
CREATE: Today our mission was to create a Fairy Tale scene. We needed to have at least 3 different scenes. Our character needed to be jumping. To do this we learned about the Motion Hop Block. We also learned how to use a loop block to repeat the action. We learned about ending each scene with a Go To Page End Block which makes our story change scenes to the next slide/page.

Today we had Constable Matthew come in to talk to us about being road safe. He showed us lots of cool videos to help us be safe.

You go by the pedestrian crossing if there is one and try to be with an older person who is responsible-Jade
